Aneth Moses Pallangyo is a Tanzanian environmental researcher affiliated with the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Environmental Studies. She currently serves as a Research Assistant under the Codestria AFRIAK Fellowship, funded by the Mastercard Foundation. Based in Tanzania, her research focuses on strengthening traditional medicine knowledge through youth-led research and documentation in Northern Tanzania. Her professional interests include community-based environmental research, sustainable development, indigenous knowledge systems, and evidence-based environmental decision-making. She has gained practical experience at the Meru District Council, contributing to environmental sanitation and solid waste management initiatives. Aneth is trained in Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Geographical Information Systems (GIS), and environmental leadership. Through her work, she promotes ethical and culturally sensitive research practices while supporting community empowerment. As an AFRIAK Fellow, her vision is to advance youth-led research, preserve indigenous knowledge, and contribute to sustainable and inclusive development across Africa
