Audrey Maringa is a PhD student with the International Studies Group at the University of the Free State. Audrey’s research interests span a wide spectrum, encompassing the history of diseases, African sexuality, health and healing, African indigenous knowledge systems, gender dynamics and the evolving landscape of the Zimbabwean pharmaceutical industry. Audrey holds a Master of Arts in African Economic History and a B.A. Honours in Economic History from the University of Zimbabwe.
