Mosa Monica MojonothoaneMosa Monica Mojonothoane is a Drama Teacher at Machabeng College International School of Lesotho. From Lesotho, Miss Mojonothoane is theatre professional and researcher with a strong background in English Language & Linguistics, Theatre & Drama and Education in Higher Education.

She holds a Master of Education in Higher Education from Botho University and a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities (English Language & Linguistics, Theatre & Drama) from the National University of Lesotho. Her academic and professional expertise combines arts, language, and pedagogy to enrich learning experiences and contribute to knowledge production.

Beyond teaching, she has extensive experience in media and publishing having worked as a reporter and sub-editor, skills that have enhanced her communication, research, and critical analysis abilities. She contributes to knowledge and professional development as National Coordinator of Writers Space Africa – Lesotho and a Scholarship Ambassador with Africademics.

Her research explores e-learning in higher education, theatre for rehabilitation, language in political discourse, and African literary representation. Now, as AFRIAK Fellow, she is committed to advancing epistemic justice and culturally grounded education in Africa. Her work focuses on bridging indigenous African pedagogies and Western educational models to address intellectual and cultural gaps in curriculum development. She is particularly motivated to contribute to education systems that affirm learners’ identities, languages, and lived experiences while remaining globally relevant.
